Travel Trade Professionals

Legendary Coasts of Eastern Newfoundland (LCEN) represents the eastern portion of the island of Newfoundland, just outside the province’s largest city of St. John’s. The region is rural and natural, filled with creativity, heritage, and more than a few surprises.

Eastern Newfoundland is instilled with depth of history and strength of culture, while boasting thousands of whales in the water and millions of seabirds on the cliffs and in the air. It is filled with fishing villages so tied to the sea that the land and ocean become inextricably linked. We are a people defined by our coasts: rugged and hospitable, remote and approachable.

Just 25 km off the coast lies the French archipelago of Saint-Pierre et Miquelon - a group of tiny islands as steadfastly French as we are Newfoundlander. Together, we form a world-class destination that is unpretentious, curious, and wholly unlike anything else on earth.

LCEN offers support to travel trade professionals, travel agents, tour operators, and all companies in the travel trade industry, in partnership with Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism, Tourisme St. Pierre et Miquelon, and the four other provincial DMOs. Support includes product news, partnership development, product assistance, and familiarization tour support.
