Legendary Coasts of Eastern Newfoundland, your Tourism Destination Management Organization, is pleased to be holding its 7th Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Rising Tide Theatre in historic Trinity, from 10am-3:30pm. AGM business from 10-12 with networking lunch and discussion from 1-3:30. Registration is $20.00.

At this time we are excited to invite nominations for 4 Director at Large positions and 3 Regional Directors for election to the LCEN Board of Directors at the AGM on October 17, 2017.
Regional Director positions available:
- 1 Regional Director - Irish Loop (2 year term)
- 1 Regional Director - Discovery Trail (2 year term)
- 1 Regional Director - Heritage Run (2 year term)
Regional Directors must be a member of Legendary Coasts and own/and or operate a registered private sector or not for profit business in the region in which they choose to be nominated.
Directors at Large must be a supporting member of Legendary Coasts and own/and or operate a registered private sector or not for profit business and can be from any subregion of the Legendary Coasts DMO region.
Individuals who volunteer for the LCEN Board of Directors are committed to achieving the province's Strategic Vision (www.uncommonpotential.com) and to growing the tourism industry in Newfoundland and Labrador and specifically the Legendary Coasts of Eastern Newfoundland Destination. Their individual experience and ability to promote and contribute to tourism development from a destination perspective is integral to advancing the Legendary Coasts as a quality tourism destination within our provincial brand.
Eastern Destination Management Organization, operating as Legendary Coasts of Eastern Newfoundland (LCEN) is a not for profit tourism destination management organization representing the areas of Eastern NL that include the Bonavista Peninsula, Burin Peninsula, and the Northern and Southern Avalon, outside the greater St. John's area.
This is an exciting time for the development of our Tourism Industry in Newfoundland and Labrador! The LCEN Board of Directors plays a vital role in representing tourism products and services in Eastern NL and is diligently focused on working with and supporting our members and provincial partners in enhancing the quality of products and experiences offered to both resident and non-resident tourists in our province.
