Release of the Eastern DMO Destination Development Plan Report & Invitation to regional Stakeholder sessions

On behalf of our partners in the Destination Development Planning process, Legendary Coasts of Eastern Newfoundland is pleased to release the final Destination Development report for the Eastern Region. We invite you to review the report as the content will be important for future tourism development, both regionally and provincially. 

The Destination Development Planning process for the Eastern region has been ongoing since 2013. As the first region to complete the process, the Eastern region is well positioned to begin implementation of the report. To begin the implementation process, we would like to invite you to participate in Opportunities Management (OM) sessions to prioritize the Findings and Recommendations outlined in the Eastern Destination Development report.

OM sessions will take place in four sub-regions and the results of the sessions will be combined to determine one set of Destination Development priorities for the Eastern region as a whole. Your assistance in helping to determine the priorities for the region is essential for the implementation the Eastern Destination Development report.

Tuesday, November 18, 2014 - Cupids - Cupids Legacy Centre

Wednesday, November 19, 2014 - Marystown - Hotel Marystown
9:00am – 3:00pm (registration opens at 8:30am)

Thursday, November 20, 2014 - Port Union – Sir William F. Coaker Factory Building
9:00am – 3:00pm (registration opens at 8:30am)
